Valve is operated by our exclusive double-acting, spring-failsafe pneumatic actuator with integral pilot / solenoid valve standard. The pneumatic actuator primarily functions as a double-acting model, requiring air pressure to open and close for normal operation. In the event of a power loss, the integral solenoid valve will return the valve to the normally closed position. While in the event of the air loss, the normally inactive compressed springs will automatically release and likewise return the valve to the normally closed position. This unique, energy saving design provides for extended service life and low air consumption by utilizing the spring-return failsafe function only when needed. The actuator operates on 60-125 psi air supply with an cycle (index) time of 1/2 to 1 second depending on model and load. Temperature Rating -20°F to 350°F (-28.8°C to 176.6°C). Actuator body aluminum with Teflon® impregnated hard anodized surfaces. Hardware 300 Series Stainless Steel. Permanently lubricated – maintenance free. Visual Open / Close indicator. ISO Mounting for accessories including Limit Switch.
